Steps
Routing Structure (Routing Methods and Find Route Logic)
Routing Methods are set on the Activities, OrderRouting EDBL Import Routines, or Exchange Configurations and are used in Find Route Logic. All Routing Methods follow the same Routing Logic. (The difference between the routing methods is the date that is checked)
Routing Methods
1) Requested Delivery Date: Runs Find Route Logic ON Invoice Audit Date
2) Next Scheduled Delivery Event Then Stop: Runs Find Route Logic AFTER Today's Date.
3) Sales Receipt (Exchange Configurations or InvoiceOrder EDBL Only): This will find or create a sales receipt loadsheet.
4) Auto Route To Event Then Stop On or After Requested Date: Runs Find Route Logic ON or AFTER Invoice Audit Date.
5) Route to Import Route Num: (Exchange Configurations or InvoiceOrder EDBL Only): Will import to the selected RouteNum in the file
6) OffDayRoute (Used by Customer Search > Add Off-Day Invoice): Create an Off-Day Load Sheet for the selected day.
7) One Customer Per Load Sheet: Will find Load Sheet with Status <= Loaded. On Distributor Order Portal, the distributor can only select a
date after the Current Date + Order Cut-Off Days in Advance.
8) Earliest Delivery Event or Stop: This will find the first Event OR Stop which is > Today.
9) One Invoice Per Load Sheet On Or After Requested DATE: Same as #4, but only one invoice per load sheet.
10) Next Delivery Stop: This method will ONLY find the stop and will not find Events, so it does not use Find Route Logic Checks mentioned below.
Routing methods 2, 4, and 10 will not create import conflicts based on after the cut-off time. Invoices will be created for the next scheduled date before the cut-off time. NOTE: If the user has Invoice Edit Routing permissions, the invoice will sync to the Load Sheet even if it is after the cut-off time.
Find Route Logic and Flowchart
Does an Event (with Activity.IsDelivery= True) exist for this Customer?
■ If an Event is found: Invoice is imported to the Load Sheet linked to the Plans.Route, again Routing Method #10 will not find events.
- If NO Event exists, does a Stop (with ActivityEffective.IsDelivery = True & Product Group) exist for this Customer?
■ If a Stop is found: Invoice is imported to the Load Sheet related to the Stops.Route
- If NO Stop and NO Event Exists for this Customer, Invoice will be imported to the Off Day Route
